MEMO Jackson : MOONWALKING THROUGH MUSIC
How did you get your name/nickname and what the meaning behind it?
Memo = short for Memorizing (I memorize all my lyrics) lol Jackson for obvious reasons. Michael Jackson had a big influence on me growing up.

What was or do you consider one of our greatest disappointment or regret in life and how do you deal with it, did you ever recover ?
No regrets, we all make mistakes. We all learn from it and we grow from these mistakes.

What do you consider your greatest achievement as far?
Working and collaborating with artists like Southstar, Wizemen Affiliatez, Kinesus, and praCh.

100 loyal friends or 1,000,000. fans ?
100 loyal friends.

What was your first song recorded? and how do you come up with the concept for your song?
One of the earliest songs I remember recording was "Reach for the Sky" ft Southern Intelligence. Concept came from me wanting to make a positive/motivational and uplifting song. R.I.P. Southern Intelligence, very talented artist from Florida I worked with who died in a car accident at age 18 believe. Everytime i listen to this song, it gives me the chills.

Where did you grow up and how was it like?
I grew up in a small town called Kelso Washington (2 hrs south of Seattle). Boring little town. I usually go to Vancouver/Portland or Seattle to hang out haha.

What would you classified your music to be?
Breakthrough Music

If an archeologist in the future digs up and find three of your current song that you have record what three would you hope they would find or what the other three you hope they never find?
I would hope they find:  Be With Me, You Over Football, and Dime
Songs I hope they don't find: All my songs I recorded prior to 2005 lol, took me a while to find my rythm and my own sound.

What is your movement and why should we support you?
Well, I'm not in this for the money or the fame. I'm doing it for the love of music and people should support me because I think my music is unique and original. I been writing and recording original music since 1995 and didn't get decent until 2005 lol.  Not everyone's gonna feel my stuff because they have their own taste in music but it feels good to get good feedback from friends and fans saying that they can relate to my song or that its been stuck in their head for days. That makes me me feel like I done my job, that's all I really want really. Feedback! good or bad, give it to me! It helps me improve.
